Guest House
The Gastdozentenhaus (International Guest Lecture House (Heinrich Hertz) and conference center) is located on the KIT South Campus, very close to the Karlsruhe palace and the city center of Karlsruhe. It is situated between the city center of Karlsruhe, the KIT South Campus, and the palace of Karlsruhe. In this beautiful and quiet location, the guest house provides 45 accommodation rooms comprised of single rooms, double rooms, two-room apartments (living room and one bedroom) and a three-room apartment (living room and two bedrooms) with space for a maximum of four people. The rooms are harmoniously decorated and have a beautiful view of the greenery - they offer a comfortable long- or short-term home to withdraw and relax. Rooms in the Gastdozentenhaus can be rented by guest lecturers and scientists of the KIT as well as external speakers.
The central location provides short walking distances and a direct connection to everything your heart desires. Numerous shops on the Kaiserstrasse can be reached within a few minutes, and one of the most beautiful German shopping centers - the Ettlinger Tor - is just 10 minutes away by foot.
In the center of Karlsruhe you will also find a variety of cafés, bars, and restaurants in which to enjoy the afternoon and round off the evening.
For lovely sunny days and short breaks, the beautiful Karlsruhe Schlossgarten is just one minute away. You will find it easy to relax here!
